Flying Snakes Recorded on Video by National Geographic

Have you seen flying snake? I bet you didn't! But if you already saw the video, the you've already seen a flying snake! This video is recorded by the National Geographic and I found it on YouTube while watching some random videos because I'm pretty bored.

Isn't it awesome? I bet it is awesome! It's pretty scary as well. Imagine a flying snake the rushes into you!

So how did this all began? It began when the Virginia Tech researchers are studying how snakes of the genus Chrysopelea, found in Southeast Asia, India and southern China, glide without the benefit of any wings or wing-like parts.

Chrysopelea snake species have been observed twisting their ribs and flattening their bodies in the air! To find out what else enables the snakes to glide, the researches used four cameras to record four flying snakes as they leaped off a five-story tower.

What an awesome research isn't it?
